(UN)HUNGRY

Completed in the creative practice MADROSA
with Rosa Raarup in 2024.

In preparation for a dinner party, MADROSA earnestly consults societal guidelines. An etiquette lesson is conducted, guest seating arrangements are considered, ingredients are located and attacked.

(Un)Hungry mulls over the multiple meanings of “consumption”: related to eating or ingesting, using up a resource, and feeling overtaken.

This theater performance leans into the absurdities of everyday life. It was performed in November, 2024 at RESOURCE located at → 512 E 24th St, Minneapolis, MN 55404.

AUDIENCE DRESS CODE

In the spirit of dinner parties, our show had a dress code. The theme was "Nowhere to Wear It" and we asked guests to slip into something they already own but never get the chance to wear.

THEMATIC MUSINGS

(Un)Hungry is a research paper disguised as a play. Here are our citations.

ACT titles are pulled from section headings in Etiquette by Emily Post.
